How recommendations work
The gallery does not secretly profile political beliefs. It ranks approved items using recency, viewer support, source quality, topic diversity and civic usefulness. No creator may occupy more than two of every twenty positions. News, commentary, entertainment and campaign material remain labeled.
score = .30 recency + .25 viewer support + .20 topic diversity + .15 source quality + .10 civic usefulness
Children should use the site with an adult. Personal information is not required.
